Martin McGarry is the founder, visionary, and CEO of MMI Group. Martin has dedicated more than 30 years to the commercial real estate (CRE) industry, as a top producing agent for 12 years before starting his own company in 2004. Known for his unwavering commitment to excellence, Martin is a trusted leader in the CRE industry.

Martin’s leadership is defined by a passion for cultivating strong relationships with key investment partners, a relentless pursuit of client-service excellence, and a commitment to community.

A passionate Winnipeg leader, Martin is a true community advocate. His focus on driving economic development in Winnipeg is evident through his position on the board of the World Trade Centre Winnipeg as well as his work on the Canadian Museum for Human Rights’ Digital Learning Centre and Gala committees.

Jenn Mullen-Berube is a transformational leader with over 25 years of executive and board experience spanning financial services, insurance, commercial real estate, and manufacturing. Currently she is the President of MMI Group. Jenn has led high-stakes restructures, cultural turnarounds, and strategic transactions including mergers, financial restructuring, divestitures, and acquisitions that consistently deliver financial results while strengthening employee engagement and customer satisfaction, positioning organizations for sustained growth.

An MBA graduate, ICD.D certified director, and executive coach, Jenn currently serves on the boards of Manitoba Blue Cross and Friesen’s Corporation. She is recognized for her ability to lead high-impact deals, guide governance and risk oversight, and build purpose-driven integrated cultures. Her strength lies in aligning people, capital, and strategy to drive enduring impact through complexity.

Jenn finds renewal in nature, travel, and meaningful connections around bonfires by the lake.

Judy Wakefield is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) with more than 20 years of financial leadership experience in the real estate and property management sectors. Her background includes both public accounting and senior in house finance leadership roles. Judy began her career in public accounting with an international advisory firm, where she spent ten years in Assurance and Risk Management. Based in Winnipeg, she also worked on client engagements in the United States and overseas. Following this, she spent the past two decades leading the finance departments at two of Winnipeg’s privately owned real estate and property management companies. Her experience spans the commercial and multi family real estate sectors.

Throughout her career, Judy has been responsible for all financial aspects of real estate services, including asset management, property valuation, investor relations, mortgage financing, and brokerage. Her extensive background includes strategic planning, leading complex financial transformations, financial reporting, systems implementation, and team building.

Chad Willis is a senior leader in commercial valuation and financial strategy with over 18 years of experience across real estate, finance, and institutional lending. He is recognized for his leadership within the Manitoba credit union system, where he served as Vice President and Chief Experience Officer, leading enterprise initiatives focused on member engagement, operational performance, and organizational growth. Chad’s progression from branch management to executive leadership reflects a consistent record of building high-performance teams and delivering results in complex, relationship-driven environments.

An MBA graduate and AACI-accredited commercial appraiser, Chad brings deep expertise in commercial appraisal, lending, agricultural finance, and business strategy. He has held senior roles spanning sales leadership and credit management, with a core strength in integrating market insight, risk management, and valuation expertise to support informed capital decisions and long-term value creation.

Outside of work, Chad resides in West St. Paul and enjoys hockey, golf, and traveling with his family.

Madison Whitla is a strategic HR leader with over seven years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, recognized for building strong, values‑aligned workplace cultures and elevating the employee experience. As Vice President, Human Resources & Business Solutions, she leads the development of people strategies that strengthen engagement, retention, and organizational effectiveness, while advancing the integration of people, processes, and technology to support operational excellence and organizational transformation.

As a Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR), Madison excels at navigating complex organizational challenges with clarity and care. She brings deep expertise in employment legislation, change leadership, and organizational effectiveness, enabling her to guide teams through transformation in a way that is both strategic and human‑centered. Known for her thoughtful and transparent communication style, Madison builds trust across all levels of the organization and supports leaders in making informed, people‑focused decisions. Passionate about authentic connection and collaboration, Madison is committed to creating environments where employees feel valued and empowered to do their best work.

Kristal Patey is a trusted leader known for her strong client relations, collaborative approach, and genuine, solutions-driven mindset. As Vice President of Asset Management, she brings extensive experience across commercial operations, acquisitions, dispositions, and mentorship. She is widely respected for her ability to build trust by working closely with our clients, guiding teams, and contributing to sustained organizational success.

Throughout her career, Kristal has played a key role in driving operational excellence by implementing processes and procedures that deliver meaningful, long term results and will be instrumental in advancing digitization and strategic implementation across the asset management platform.

Tara Bridgett is an Asset Manager with several years of experience in commercial property and asset management. Since joining the organization as a Senior Property Manager, she has demonstrated operational expertise, developed strong client relationships, and aligned with MMI Group’s strategic objectives and service standards.

Tara holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Accounting, providing a strong foundation in both relationship-based management and financial oversight. Her career experience has strengthened her ability to manage complex portfolios and navigate diverse stakeholder environments.

Most recently, Tara manages our asset management portfolio, comprising over 1,000,000 square feet across more than 20 properties. She is recognized for her strengths in tenant and client relations, fostering effective inter-departmental collaboration, and maintaining comprehensive inspection and maintenance programs to ensure properties perform efficiently and remain well-positioned for long-term success. Tara brings a detail-oriented, collaborative approach to asset management, focused on maximizing asset value while delivering service excellence.

Kerri Melnyk is the Vice President of Property Management, overseeing the operations of MMI Group’s property management team, including the Commercial, Multi-Family, Condominium, and Residential Divisions, as well as the Maintenance Division. She brings deep operational experience and a strong understanding of both commercial and multi-family property management, supported by 18 years in the industry, including 15 years with MMI Group. Kerri has extensive experience working closely with Boards of Directors, supporting effective governance and operational decision-making across a diverse range of property portfolios.

In addition to her role with MMI Group, Kerri serves as Vice President on the Board of Directors for CCI (Canadian Condominium Institute) Manitoba, contributing her experience and perspective to the broader condominium and property management community.

Outside of work, Kerri enjoys spending time at the lake with her family and being on the water.

Paige Bouchard is a marketing and communications professional with more than seven years of experience in integrated marketing and sales, including over two years in the commercial real estate industry. As Vice President, Marketing & Brokerage, Paige leads both the marketing and brokerage teams, driving an empowerment-focused culture grounded in collaboration and strategic clarity. She is recognized for her ability to align people and priorities, bring the right voices to the table, and advance organizational goals with purpose and impact.

Beyond her role, Paige is deeply engaged in community leadership, serving as Event Director for motionball Winnipeg, an organization dedicated to raising awareness and funds for Special Olympics. She is also an active member of the Young Associates, contributing to the development of Manitoba’s next generation of business leaders. Her work inside and outside the organization reflects her belief in the power of connection, engagement, and purpose-driven leadership.

In her free time, Paige enjoys staying active through golf, pickleball, cycling, curling, and just about anything that keeps her moving.

Chris Macsymic is a Principal and Executive Vice President at Cushman & Wakefield Winnipeg and Co-Lead of the firm’s Investment Team. With a career focused on complex investment and capital markets transactions, Chris brings deep expertise across income-producing assets, development land, and industrial sales and leasing. He is routinely engaged by REITs, pension funds, public companies, family offices, and private investors to provide independent, strategic guidance, including during insolvency and restructuring proceedings on behalf of accounting firms and lending institutions.

Chris holds a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from the University of Manitoba’s Asper School of Business. He is a member of Cushman & Wakefield’s President’s Roundtable and Canadian National Capital Markets Group, a former Vice Chair of the Winnipeg Realtors Association Commercial Division and holds the SIOR designation (Society of Industrial and Office Realtors). Chris is recognized for his disciplined approach, market insight, and ability to lead sophisticated sale processes with confidence and integrity.

Brett Intrater is an Executive Vice President and Team Co-Lead on the Cushman & Wakefield Winnipeg Investment Team, as well as a senior member of Cushman & Wakefield’s National Capital Markets Group. Since joining the firm in 2016, Brett has consistently been a top-producing advisor, recognized for his disciplined execution and results-driven approach. He specializes in the sale of income-producing investment properties across all asset classes, as well as land and building sales for development and repositioning.

Throughout his career, Brett has represented non-profit organizations, governmental agencies, REITs, pension funds, public companies, and private investors in both agency and buyer representation roles. He is trusted for his strategic insight, transaction leadership, and ability to navigate complex mandates. Brett holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree from the University of Manitoba’s Asper School of Business and is a member of Cushman & Wakefield’s Future Leaders and President’s Roundtable.

Ryan Munt is a client-focused commercial real estate advisor with over a decade of experience, specializing in office and industrial transactions. As an Executive Vice President, Ryan is recognized for his energy, market knowledge, and hands-on approach, delivering strategic solutions for national and institutional clients.

Ryan is a member of Cushman & Wakefield’s Tenant Advisory Group, which consists of the top office leasing brokers across Canada and the US. Ryan is known as the local market leader in commercial condominiums, having transacted the highest number of commercial condo units in the past decade. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree from the University of Manitoba’s Asper School of Business.

As a former University of Manitoba Bison and Junior National volleyball team member, Ryan brings a competitive, team-oriented mindset to every engagement.

Stephen Sherlock joined what is now Cushman & Wakefield Winnipeg following his graduation from the Asper School of Business. His professional experience spans industrial sales and leasing, investment sales across all asset classes, land sales, and build-to-suit projects. From 2012-2013 Stephen served as Vice President of Property Management Services, where he gained extensive knowledge in building maintenance and construction, as well as the financial accounting of commercial properties. Following this, he returned to the brokerage side of the business, bringing an enhanced understanding of commercial real estate operations.

Stephen graduated from the Asper School of Business in 2006, earning majors in Marketing and General Business Studies. He is also the past Chair of the Commercial Division of WinnipegREALTORS, contributing to leadership and governance within the local real estate community.

Chris Hourihan is an Associate Vice President with Cushman & Wakefield Winnipeg, where he advises clients on the leasing and sale of commercial real estate across all major asset classes. Since joining the firm in March 2019, Chris has developed a reputation for being highly detail-oriented, analytical, and client-focused. He brings a practical, solutions-driven mindset to every assignment, helping clients navigate complex transactions with clarity and confidence. His approach is grounded in a strong understanding of market fundamentals, financial analysis, and deal structuring, combined with a commitment to clear communication and execution.

Chris holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and a degree in Conflict Resolution from the University of Winnipeg. Prior to entering commercial real estate, he worked as a National Benefits Advisor specializing in group benefit sales across Canada, experience that sharpened his negotiation skills and reinforced the importance of trust, discretion, and long-term client relationships. Known for his responsiveness and work ethic, Chris believes that time is the most valuable currency in any transaction. He is focused on delivering thoughtful advice and efficient outcomes, allowing clients to make informed decisions so they an focus their time on what matters most to them.

Karin Thielmann is a results-driven commercial real estate professional with over a decade of experience spanning investment analysis, acquisitions, and brokerage sales support across commercial and multifamily asset classes. In her role as Senior Associate, Karin brings a strong analytical foundation to every assignment, with deep expertise in underwriting, due diligence, and transaction execution. She has played an integral role in more than $4 billion in real estate transactions, supporting portfolio growth and strategic sales initiatives for institutional and private clients alike.

Recognized for her sharp market insight and data-driven approach, Karin excels at identifying opportunities, positioning assets effectively, and supporting informed decision-making throughout the transaction lifecycle. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree from the University of Manitoba’s Asper School of Business.

With over a decade of experience in sales and management, Brandi Eloquence brings practical, client-first guidance to every assignment. Since joining Cushman & Wakefield Winnipeg, she has represented both independent businesses and national brands across all asset classes, helping clients navigate growth, change, and new opportunities.

Brandi is known for her strong market knowledge, clear negotiation style, and hands-on approach. She focuses on thoughtful site selection and well-structured deals that support long-term business goals, not just short-term wins. Clients value her ability to provide current market insight, honest advice, and a smooth process from first conversation to final signature. Colin Gratton is a client focused and results-driven commercial real estate professional who brings a collaborative, relationship-oriented approach to every interaction. Known for delivering exceptional client experiences, he provides bilingual service and works across all major asset classes. Colin represents landlords, tenants, buyers, and sellers, with growing expertise in industrial and office markets with a particular strength in tenant and buyer representation. His commitment to service excellence, value creation, and long-term client relationships defines his approach to commercial real estate and has resulted in exceeding revenue targets.

Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield Winnipeg, Colin studied at l’Université de Saint Boniface before completing an Honours Bachelor of Sport Management degree at Brock University. He later returned home to build his career in sports with the Winnipeg Jets at True North Sports + Entertainment where he led the Premium Sales & Service ticketing team responsible for selling premium products and servicing high-value individual and corporate clients. Since transitioning into CRE, he has contributed to several notable lease and sale transactions and continues to develop experience with corporate clients, non profits, and Indigenous organizations.

Colin is active in the community through the Young Associates Recruitment Committee and his involvement in the Fight for Charity novice boxing event.

Lydawn McGarry joined Cushman & Wakefield Winnipeg in 2021 and is now advancing her career as a Commercial Agent, bringing a diverse background that spans marketing, property management, and residential leasing. She began her career in marketing before moving into property management, where she gained hands-on experience across both residential and commercial portfolios. Most recently, Lydawn excelled as a Residential Leasing Agent in the multi-family division and played a key role in the successful lease-up of a nearly 400 unit luxury residential tower, an achievement that highlights her strong client focus, market insight, and ability to deliver results in fast-paced environments.

Lydawn holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a double major in Business Management and Human Resource Management from the Redekop School of Business at Canadian Mennonite University, where she competed on a volleyball scholarship. Known for her high energy, teamwork-driven approach, and commitment to creating value, Lydawn looks forward to leveraging her well-rounded experience as she continues to grow within the commercial real estate industry.

Nina Ladouceur is a Senior Property and Business Development professional with MMI Group, specializing in development, multi-family management, and strategic real estate operations. She provides property management and advisory services to individual and corporate clients, with experience across new developments, multi-family, condominium, and commercial properties. Nina works closely with developers, investors, and property owners to identify growth opportunities, support new project pursuits, and strengthen long term partnerships, delivering market intelligence, consulting, and construction and lease up support to help maximize asset performance.

With more than a decade at MMI Group, Nina has played a key role in supporting developers and property owners from early project planning through occupancy and stabilized operations. Nina is passionate about building strong client partnerships and creating thriving communities where people can live, work, and grow. Nina serves on the board as the Vice President of the Professional Property Managers Association and is recognized for her strong client relationships, strategic approach to property performance, and results-driven business development. A graduate of the University of Winnipeg, she continues to advance her expertise through ongoing training in business development and operations. Nina is also very active within the real estate industry and professional associations, reflecting her commitment to leadership, innovation, and excellence.

Outside of work, Nina enjoys time with family and friends, relaxing at the cottage, and travelling.

Mike Brown is a results-driven commercial real estate professional with over 20 years of experience spanning asset management, acquisitions, development, and leasing across Saskatchewan and Manitoba. Currently serving as Vice President of Acquisition and Land Development at MMI Group, Mike leads strategic portfolio growth and leasing across a diversified commercial portfolio. Throughout his career Mike has successfully delivered multi-million dollar development and acquisition projects, navigated complex government and municipal approval processes. As well, he has led high-performing teams; bringing hands-on expertise in everything from due diligence and pro-forma financial analysis to contract negotiation and portfolio repositioning.

A graduate of the University of Regina with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Business Administration (Finance), Mike holds an active Saskatchewan Commercial Real Estate License. His breadth of experience across retail, office, industrial, and mixed-use assets gives him a uniquely well-rounded perspective that he brings to every client engagement.

When he’s not focused on real estate, Mike enjoys the outdoors and staying connected with his community, through his involvement in Minor Hockey and Lacrosse in Regina.

Allie specializes in underwriting real estate acquisitions and development opportunities and overseeing asset performance across industrial, mixed-use, and multifamily asset classes. In her role as an Investment Analyst, Allie supports disciplined investment decision-making through rigorous financial analysis, leveraging deep expertise in financial modeling, valuation, and risk assessment. Her analytical approach helps evaluate opportunities, manage risk, and optimize asset performance throughout the investment lifecycle.

Prior to joining MMI Group, Allie built a strong foundation in commercial banking, where she worked as an underwriter focused on financial evaluation, credit risk assessment, and structuring lending solutions.

Allie is a CFA charterholder.

Chelsea serves as the Executive Assistant to the CEO and the President of MMI Group, supporting executive leadership across strategic, operational, and administrative functions. With a comprehensive understanding of the organization’s structure, priorities, and growth initiatives, she serves as a key point of coordination for investor relations, executive planning and strategic execution. 

Chelsea brings extensive experience spanning franchise operations, marketing, and property management. Her background includes managing national franchise portfolios, overseeing commercial and residential real estate operations, and supporting complex initiatives involving contracts, compliance, budgeting, and reporting. She also has experience in marketing and brand strategy, contributing to clear and consistent communication of business performance and objectives. 

Chelsea focuses on maintaining effective stakeholder relationships and ensuring accurate, timely information flow. Her operational knowledge and breadth of experience support MMI Group’s leadership team and investor engagement efforts. 

Tavleen Deol brings extensive experience in real estate, with a background that includes residential, commercial, and investment transactions. As an entrepreneur, she approaches real estate with a strategic, business-minded perspective—enabling her to connect with clients on a deeper level and understand their goals beyond the transaction.

Known for her drive, attention to detail, and solutions-oriented mindset, Tavleen is committed to delivering value through clear communication and thoughtful insight. Her ability to balance professionalism with genuine care has earned her a reputation as a trusted advisor to clients navigating a wide range of real estate opportunities.

Danielle Demetrioff is an Appraisal Consultant specializing in commercial real estate valuation. She works on a wide range of property types including multi-family, retail, industrial, office, mixed-use, and development land. Danielle supports clients with market analysis, financial modelling, and valuation services that inform lending, acquisition, development, and investment decisions.

Danielle holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in Finance from the Asper School of Business and the Post-Graduate Certificate in Real Property Valuation from the University of British Columbia. She is currently pursuing the AACI designation through the Appraisal Institute of Canada. Prior to transitioning into commercial real estate valuation, Danielle worked in the software sector where she focused on research, analytics, and product management.

Samantha Steg is a Valuation & Advisory Coordinator at MMI Group, bringing over a decade of progressive administrative and operational experience across real estate, asset management, technology, and the public sector. Having supported both clients and internal teams throughout her career, she brings a strong foundation in organization, communication, and process efficiency, skills she applies daily to keep projects moving and client needs front and centre.

Her professional background spans roles in office management, administration, and community development, giving her a well-rounded perspective that allows her to anticipate needs, solve problems proactively, and contribute meaningfully across all levels of a team. Currently completing a Bachelor of Business Administration at the University of Winnipeg, she is committed to deepening her expertise and growing alongside the industry she serves.
